Mailing list help

This is a brief summary of how to use the Yahoo! Groups email list. Please take a few minutes to read this as it will save you and us large amounts of time later.

Key points

  • You do not need to have access to the Web to participate in the group. You can participate entirely via e-mail. Web access does provide added functionality, but it is not a requirement.
  • You do not need to create a Yahoo! Accoutn to participate in the group.

Joining the group

You must be invited to join the group. This ensures that spam or adverts are not sent to the group. All new members should be invited once they have completed the membership form, but if not, please use the contact link to request we add you to the group. 

If you don't have Web access on the email address you want to join, don't worry. Just reply to the invitation email and you're address will automatically be added to the mailing list.

Removing yourself from the group

Just send an email to rickywindsurfing-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com .  Remember though, once you unsubscribe, you must be invited to rejoin.

Posting messages 

Send your email to rickywindsurfing@yahoogroups.com

Receiving emails on multiple accounts 

You can receive emails from the group at home and at work (for example), but we'll need to send you an invite to both accounts. Just let us know which addresses you'd like to receive emails on.

Point your browser to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rickywindsurfing/
